This month, we will be exploring plein air art. Leah Heming, your host and guide, will be taking you to stunning locations to practice your art outdoors. We will explore the mountains, secluded beaches and traditional Northern Greek villages. |

PLEIN AIR MONTHJune is when summer finally gets properly started. Everything is open for business and the island full of life. A good month to come, if you like the heat (but not too hot) and prefer less people, as the tourists will only just be starting to arrive in small numbers. A fabulous time for enjoy mountains and beaches in equal measure and a fantastic time to explore plein air art.

AN AVERAGE WEEK AT THE PLEIN AIR ART RESIDENCY
MONDAY: ☀️AM: drive down to the local village market in Prinos where you will find beautiful fresh, seasonal vegetables from local small scale farmers.
Stock up for the week from the market, local fishmongers, butchers and supermarket, then finish the morning with a Greek coffee in the café with the local community.
🌜PM: Head back to house, get creative or head out for a walk around the village or into the beautiful gorge full of springs and dipping pools

June is a wonderful part of summer in Greece, where the weather is warm and sunny, perfect for plein air creativity, hikes, swims and beach days.
Expect to spend most days and night outdoors, creating, daydreaming or chilling by the sea. Pack summer clothes, good hiking shoes, a hat and a light jumper for the eventual cooler evening. |

🌿 Metamorphosis room: On the ground floor, next to the bathroom & the studio. With its original stone work, this double room is very cosy, like sleeping in cocoon!
🌿 Fern spirit room: Upstairs room with a view, original features and a small wood burner, this room can be made up as a single or double room.
🌿 Krana room: Upstairs, a smaller but double room with fantastic views and a lovely feeling with its original wattle and daub walls.
