Elena Gogou
Elena is trained in permaculture, flower essences, and is a facilitator in Systemic Family Constellations, with a particluar interest in Nature Constellations.
Her breadth of knowledge of local medicinal and edible plants is astounding; we can always turn to her if we have a question about a particular plant. Elena has spent many years investigating alternative community structures and teaches her plant knowledge regularly in Greece, collaborating with other renowed teachers. She is very well known in the environmental community, at times it seems that she knows everyone! Elena has become one of our dearest friends since we arrived in Greece. We met on our third course with the Stone Age living teacher Lynx Vilden in the Rhodopi mountain range just across from us on the mainland. Elena helped organise the course, seeking permissions, sourcing organic food and scouting out location in the Virgin Forest. We were mesmerised by her fire-side singing of traditional Greek ballads and the stories and histories that she weaved. We learnt so much on that week with her and formed a tight bond from the experiences we lived together. |
