HOST A RETREAT
We welcome yoga and meditation teachers, holistic therapists, art/ writing teachers, ayurvedic practitioners, nature guides etc. to design their own retreat with us here in the Greek mountain village of Kazaviti, surrounded by the village’s grounded and ancient energy fields, with the sea just down the road. Here is a little idea of what we can currently offer. |

Space for 7 yoga practitioners/ students housed at the property, maybe a couple more if couples want to attend. Possibilities to find extra accommodation for extra people if planned in advance, though this may not be as inexpensive as our place. Further space for practice can be found in the nature around, but for practicing within the property, around 7 is a good number. More possibilities for practicing at beaches, ancient orchards on old roman terraces, or in our stunning gorge that runs next to the village. We can also offer extra assistance to your yoga classes, from myself (Abigail McDougall) a qualified yoga teacher, happy to assist and possibly teach a few classes within your own, Leah Heming, a qualified nature guide can provide extra assistance and nature walks. We also have our best friend in the village, who is a yoga teacher and Zen meditator with many years’ experience who may be able to offer his services. We can provide yoga mats and props. |

We suggest that you calculate how much your own teaching costs per student and add the following small amounts on top for accommodation. For ease we suggest you collect the course fees yourself and direct the students to us for the accommodation charges, which are a token amount to help us cover costs. Shared spaces include a kitchen, lounge and two terrace gardens overlooking the sea, barbeque, an art studio, a fire pit (can’t be used in summer due to fire ban). The property is in the top corner of the village so the mountain and nature around are easily accessible. A bathroom is shared. Wees can be done in the surrounding nature. An extra accommodation space can be found for you the teacher, separate from the students, if required. The following costs are to give you an idea based on a 7-day retreat. 7 days food costs for breakfast and lunch have been added. Evening meals can be taken at tavernas or group cooking can take place in the kitchen or on the barbeque. |

One larger double room, downstairs (cool in summer) and next to bathroom, suitable to share by a couple: £70 breakfast & lunch plus £160 accommodation (£230) plus £50 extra if shared by a couple (£280). One small double room upstairs, suitable for sharing by a couple: £70 breakfast & lunch plus £140 accommodation (£210) plus £50 extra if shared by a couple (£260) One twin room, two single beds, price per person: £70 breakfast and lunch plus £100 accommodation (£170) One bed space in communal area: in the art studio downstairs: £70 breakfast & lunch plus £80 accommodation (£150) One single bed on outdoor terrace with mosquito net and rain protection: £70 breakfast & lunch plus £50 accommodation (£120) Another single bed on outdoor terrace with mosquito net and rain protection: £70 breakfast and lunch plus £50 accommodation (£120) Extra days spent here by students before or after the course to explore the island can be arranged at a small extra cost.
